Welcome to Template Settings! This is where you can create, edit, delete and manage your message templates. Taking a few minutes to get your templates written with your brand’s voice and personality will save you tons of time as you begin to reach out to candidates.

Remember! These messages will be received by the Candidates as a direct text message. So be sure to let them know who you are and why you are texting them! This can make a huge impact on their responsiveness and how they perceive the culture at your restaurant.

Where do I find Template Settings?

Left hand side in our menu under Settings → Location Settings→ Templates

These are all your existing templates.

You’ll notice that on some templates, there is a Lock 🔒.

Those are because we have a few templates that are system templates that you can't delete. Whenever we send an offer, we always need to make sure there's at least one offer letter template in the system so that the process doesn't break. You can, however, edit the content of those templates.

You'll also notice that we have template categories. You can add as many as you want. This is true for locked templates as well as custom templates. As many as makes sense for you to be the most efficient when messaging your candidates.

What does Template Type Global or Personal mean?

Global means that everybody can see it, everybody can use it in the feed or in message windows.

If you want something just for yourself, you can set it to Personal and only you will be able to see it.

Are my Interview Templates required to have a Template Action?

No. You can create an interview template with no action. for example, if you have some interview information, but it doesn't need to be tied to sending a link with an interview time or with an interview request, that would not require a Template Action.

But if you want to use it in one of our action models for setting an interview request or setting a date and time, you need to choose one of these actions and insert the required Scheduling Link, for example.

What are Screening Templates?

With screening, we're actually inviting them to fill out some questions or submit a video.

So we need to give them the option to do that by creating the questions or the video prompt.

These templates also require an Action, so be sure to include the Screening Link. Don’t worry, the system will automatically remind you if it is left off! 😀

Now, you are ready to go every time you want to screen or interview somebody!

Just click in, grab a template, click, send. If you want to see how to do that within your Feed, we have another tutorial on using these templates in the feed.
